Hi Readers! Kidsuper has its Spring runway and it was not less then a rollercoaster. For Kidsuper’s Spring 2025 runway show, Colme Dilane once again committed to a unique artistic vision, staging a theatrical spectacle inspired by the circus that bridged performing arts with fashion.
Titled, It’s All Up in the Air, models walked as marionettes, their arms connected by strings to the fingers of a giant hand gliding along a rail on the ceiling. Alton Mason opened the show in a suit printed with a battered wooden puppet.
The collection swung between streetwear aesthetics featuring patchwork denim shorts, varsity jackets, and Puma collaboration caps, and a more fantastically eerie vibe reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poe or P.T. Barnum. This included a model wearing a clown mask, a stilt walker in brightly painted pants, a dress entirely made of clown ruffles revealing Mona Tugart’s face.
The closing look featuring a headless man in a confetti spotted coat. By merging the worlds of circus and drama, the collection underscores that great art is rarely created in isolation.
